Should I have my blood draw for my Coumadin levels drawn at a certain time?

Our goal is to report routine protime results within four hours. You can help us to provide this information to your physician during normal business hours if you arrive prior to noon for this testing. That way, if your results indicate that your medication needs to be adjusted, we can contact your physician in his office to give him this vital health information.

Note: Patient preparation sheets for most testing procedures are available in English and Spanish at all South Bend Medical Foundation laboratory sites.
