Kelly McBride
South Bend Medical Foundation employee, Kelly McBride, has struck an important balance over the years of being an outstanding employee and a mother since 1981.
Her position as a Category I Technologist in the Automated Laboratory allows her to run automated instruments. Quality checks, which Kelly performs daily, ensure that the machines are running properly and providing accurate, timely results.
Her love of Science shines through as she is able to participate in clinical trials with Roche Diagnostics to evaluate whether machinery they have developed is able to produce a good end product.
Kelly's experience on all three shifts in the Automated Lab has given her the ability to troubleshoot various machines when there are problems with the instrumentation.
