Throughout the designated time period, collect all feces from each bowel movement and place in the 1-gallon container supplied by the laboratory
Refrigerate container until collection is completed
A single 1-gallon container is usually adequate to hold the entire collected specimen; contact the laboratory for additional containers if required
  • Spec Process:
Indicate if the entire collection is contained in one container or in multiple containers
If multiple containers, indicate the number of each container (i.e. 1 of 2)
Place all 1-gallon containers in a large plastic bag for transport to the laboratory
  • Spec Store Transport:
    Refrigerated
